2020 – M.A. in Education, Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY, USA

Emphasis on cognitive and linguistic acquisition, cultural theory, and research methodology. These areas inform Evans’ conceptual and language-based practice.

ARTISTIC FORMATION

Independent training through sustained studio practice, self-directed research, and mentorship.

  • Mentored by architect Younes Ainar (cross-disciplinary spatial focus)

  • Influenced by Vietnamese lacquer artist Trịnh Tuấn (materiality, sanding, transfer)

  • Developed a conceptual-materialist approach rooted in urban research and printmaking
